Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Interim HR Manager to join Rotherham Council on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on Trade Union Consultations
2. Change management across the HR Function
3. Lead and manage a team of HR Consultants to implement effective HR practices.
4. Deliver high-quality advice on workforce planning, performance management, and organisational development.
5. Drive strategic HR initiatives, including policy development, talent management, and change management.
6. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Extensive experience in HR management, including handling complex employee relations cases.
2. Experience of Local Government Trade Union Consultations
3. Proven track record in policy development and organisational change.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
5. MCIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential.
