Level 3 Nursery Nurse / EYFS Practitioner
The Headteacher of a reputable Primary School in Chorley is looking for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their oversubscribed Nursery Class within the school. This is a full-time opportunity working alongside professionals who are passionate about working within Early Years. This is a new role in the school and is due to begin from Monday 1st September 2025 and is expected to carry on until May 2026. The working hours for this role are 8:45-15:15 Monday-Friday term time only. This role has been created as the school has a permanent staff member going on maternity leave. Senior Leaders and staff pride themselves on having positive relationships with parents and the wider community. This is a lovely welcoming community school, and the Headteacher is driven to provide a stimulating and creative learning environment for our youngest pupils. The school boasts excellent facilities for continuous provision and a newly refurbished outdoor learning area.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education.
* Experience of working alongside children within the EYFS and planning and delivering around the EYFS curriculum.
* Experience of observing, monitoring, and recording the development of children.
* Strong communication skills whilst working within a team and confidence working within a busy working environment.
* Confident liaising with parents of young children.
