Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to oversee and operate machinery in our plastics manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plastic molding or extrusion equipment while maintaining quality standards and production goals. Key Responsibilities Set Up and Operate Machinery : Prepare plastic molding, extrusion, or thermoforming machines for operation. Install molds, dies, and tooling based on production requirements. Production Monitoring : Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and output. Adjust machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and speed, as needed. Quality Control : Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies. Perform regular quality checks and maintain accurate documentation. Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machines. Identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues in a timely manner. Safety and Compliance : Follow all company and industry safety guidelines and protocols. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate production logs, material usage, and machine performance data. Communicate any production issues or delays to supervisors.
