To support the team lead in the day to day management and development of the service and staff. To be responsible for Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy portfolio which will include provision of expert advice to occupational therapists/ physiotherapists, senior clinicians, MDT across Intermediate Tier Services to support them in taking up their duty of care; to develop, co-ordinate and deliver training programmes including competency frameworks, information packages for patients and families together with colleagues working in health, education and social care Management of a clinical caseload of patients with highly complex and/or additional Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy needs Provide clinical triage and support service demand management through in-reach to the Hospital urgent care units To establish individualised management and treatment plans, using advanced clinical reasoning and utilising a wide range of evidence based treatment skills and options to formulate highly specialised interventions and programmes of care, which will include working with staff across organisational boundaries Provide clinical leadership and supervision facilitating a culture of learning and reflective practice within Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy Identify audit/research opportunities, initiating, designing and implementing agreed projects as required.
