Description About the Allied Health Assistant role This First Nations identified position supports the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. Working closely with our Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams, you’ll help individuals stay active, independent, and connected. Your Passion and Commitment will see you: Assist clients with their allied health programs, both individually and in group settings. Support the planning, organising, and evaluation of group programs. Provide feedback to therapists based on client interactions. Maintain and order allied health supplies and equipment. Perform administrative duties, including managing waiting lists and making appointments. To succeed in this role you will have: Lived experience as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent and/or relevant experience as an Allied Health Assistant. Current Victorian Drivers Licence. Experience supporting aged persons, people with disabilities, and diverse communities in both individual and group settings. Strong teamwork skills with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.
