Job Description
UX Writer/Content Manager - Charity - 6 Months FTC £40-45k
I am working with a wonderful charity who have a 6 months fixed term opening for a 'content manager' to join their team. Their current content designer is leaving after many years in the company due to securing a new role. They are looking to replace this permanent role in the spring (which this FTC could potentially turn into), but for now their needs are more focussed on hands-on support as a 'content manager', as they are currently working towards a new website launch.
Some responsibilities may include:
1. Managing the content migration and production workstream of the project to redevelop their website, within the Digital team and working as part of a cross-functional project team.
2. Preparing content ready for launch, including new content creation and adapting existing content from the old site to the new.
3. Supporting other editors to create, transfer and optimise content.
4. Developing the digital expertise of colleagues by training them to use the new website content management system (Craft).
5. Contributing to setting digital project KPIs and working with colleagues to evaluate and optimise performance post-launch.
6. Using recent user research to understand digital audiences and help develop user experiences.
7. Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to communicate internal and external user requirements for effective content design.
8. Making data-led decisions based on user and organisational needs to create and deliver a content production plan.
Huge bonus if you have experience in the charity sector or similar!
WFH Policy: 8 days per month in London office (flexible).
Start Date: ASAP.
