As an Electrical Estimator, you will analyse project specifications, prepare detailed cost estimates, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and evaluate bids while working on various commercial projects to ensure accurate pricing and compliance with industry standards.

Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 4:00 - Full time in the office + regular site visits which are predominantly in London but can be occasionally nationwide.
Salary - £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience).

Position Overview
Analyse project specifications and requirements for electrical installations in commercial projects.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads specific to commercial installations.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand the scope of commercial projects.
Evaluate bid proposals and vendor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness in the commercial sector.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather relevant data for commercial installations.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in estimates for commercial work.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricing in commercial projects.
Present estimates to management and assist in bid submissions for commercial contracts.
Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle as necessary.

Position Requirements
Experience using Ensign Software is preferred or any other estimating software.
Proven experience in estimating electrical installations for commercial projects, with strong analytical skills to interpret specifications and prepare detailed cost estimates.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, with experience conducting site visits and assessing conditions relevant to commercial installations.
