Special Needs Teaching Assistant Area: Coventry Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 3:30pm FULL TIME Monarch Education is working closely with a special needs school in Coventry who requires a full time Teaching Assistant to work within their specialist team to help support the education and development of their children from Key Stage 3 up to GCSE level and beyond. At this remarkable school, a dedicated team is committed to fostering a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for all students. This is a full-time, long-term role, Monday to Friday to start ASAP for the full academic year, with the view of potentially going permanent. We are seeking to appoint an individual with a calming and nurturing nature, who has extensive experience working with children or adults with special needs. This experience may be gained in either the care or education sector. While formal qualifications are not required, any transferable skills or related qualifications would be highly regarded. The ideal candidate will have but not essential: Relevant qualifications or experience in special education, child development, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, colleagues, and parents. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children who face challenges in their learning journey. An understanding of the specific needs of children with SEND and a commitment to promoting their well-being and success. A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to the ever-changing needs of our students.
