Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our branch. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive sales growth. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the branch meets its operational and financial goals while fostering a positive work environment.
You will maintain regular communication with both existing and prospective clients, overseeing the hire/management of portable toilets and accommodation to the construction, civil, and events sectors.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of branch operations including sales, customer service, health and safety, and management of the Nottingham team.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers and address any concerns or issues promptly.
* Provide regular reports on sales performance and depot activities.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Achieve set sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
* Manage costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments to optimise branch performance and share best practices.
* With support from Head Office - recruit, train and develop staff to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
Essential Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients.
* Proven experience in B2B sales and business development.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and drive business growth.
* Highly organized with the ability to make clear, informed decisions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
* A confident, flexible attitude and a proactive approach.
* Discretion and confidentiality.
* Full UK driving licence.
