Your role:
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will work in a team that delivers the highest quality of service to an internationally dedicated client base. Your key responsibility will be to maintain the supplier accounts, enabling prompt and efficient payment.
Key responsibilities:
1. Receiving, distributing, and actioning post accordingly
2. Ensuring all relevant haulage documentation is received
3. Processing, scanning, validating, and retrieving invoices, including manually inputting supplier invoices as required
4. Invoice checking and verification, and obtaining approval for invoices from relevant divisions prior to payment
5. Managing supplier accounts by reconciling statements and resolving supplier queries
6. Checking payment runs for suppliers on relevant payment dates and ensuring payment terms are adhered to
7. Setting up new or amending supplier accounts as requested by managers.
About you:
As the successful Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will have significant previous experience in a similar role, ideally liaising with providers and vendors. It is essential to have good knowledge of Microsoft packages, accurate data inputting skills, a logical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to learn and memorize information. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a workload, would also be advantageous.

A salary of £22,000 - £23,000 (depending on experience), working 35 hours per week.
