I am proud to be working with a school in their search for a Behaviour Support Tutor to run their Behaviour Hub. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work with a warm and positive school focused on child engagement. The school's specialist care, therapeutic services, and curated curriculum help provide support for students with complex learning difficulties, including SEMH. The school encourages students aged 5 - 11 to develop both socially and emotionally in addition to academically.
The ideal Behaviour Support Tutor will undertake the school's vision to cultivate a learning environment that embodies their values of collaboration, trust, and ambition. You will show a strong commitment and a proactive attitude towards the students' educational development and progression.
This MLD Primary school is searching for the right Behaviour Support Tutor to join their team of strong and passionate educators, focused on helping students with their supported learning through personalised teaching and differentiated lessons based on the National Curriculum.
The Behaviour Support Tutor must have strong knowledge or experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, specifically Autism and ADHD. In addition to having ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Training and PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) Training, they must also have experience with collecting data, tracking progress, and monitoring students to successfully get them back into the classroom.
The successful Behaviour Support Tutor will have:
1. ABA Training
2. PBS Training
3. Experience working with children with ASD, SEMH, and ADHD traits
4. Experience supporting young children
5. Experience collecting data and supporting to track and monitor students' progress
