Teaching Assistant Bingham £ per week (dependent on qualifications and experience) About the role Connex Education is in partnership with a lovely primary school in NG13 area to work on a part time SEND Teaching assistant position. As a successful SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be matched to work pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, challenging behaviours, SEMH, ASD, with a focus on providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment. You will be skilled to support with Phonics (Read, write inc) in the younger age groups and be adaptable to work up to support SATs preparation in the older year groups of Primary school. You will have a passion for improving children’s life chances and be an excellent guide for children to enjoy their time at school and reach their developmental learning goals. Assignment Details At Connex Education we value the role SEND Teaching Assistants have in Children's improvement in school and confidence outside the classroom to reach their full potential. This is an opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The role will commence in February and will be continuous throughout the academic term on a part time basis. For the right candidate, it has the potential to go permanent. Duties will include general classroom support for all pupils in KS1 and KS2, facilitating learning through play and small group interventions for pupils with SEND needs requiring additional support. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher in helping to promote the acquisition of learning goals.
