The school wants to make sure their employees feel valued and supported, therefore, regular traning will be provided Position Details: Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Exeter, Devon Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: September or sooner if possible Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons. Support students with personal care and medical needs, as required. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and respected. Requirements: Experience working with children with special educational needs Understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc. Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
