Job Description:
There has never been a more exciting time to join Acute Medicine at Russell’s Hall Hospital. First class staff are our best asset and recent investment is allowing us to expand our nursing team.
Acute medicine has drastically expanded over the past few years with our move into the 2-storey rainbow unit which hosts a specialised level 1 facility. In the 12 months we have also expanded AMU and created an additional 22 patient spaces in a new assessment area.
If you are an experienced band 3 or a band 2 care support worker looking to develop further then this is the role for you. To be eligible for this position you must already have your level 3 or be currently studying. Clinical skills training will be provided.
Please note you will be required to work across all areas of acute medicine and be able to work days, nights, and weekends.
Main duties of the job:
As a higher clinical support worker, you will be responsible for maintaining patients' needs including hygiene, toileting, and nutrition, as well as assisting the nursing and medical teams with extended roles.
You will also play a key role in assessing, treating, and transferring patients to ensure they receive a high standard of care and a good hospital experience.

Experience:
* Acute medicine experience or similar
* Able to work as a team
* Experience as band 2/3 in a hospital setting
