Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support students' academic progress
* Assess students' abilities and adapt teaching methods to meet their specific needs
* Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and relevant stakeholders
* Collaborate with school staff and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring
* Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* Experience using assistive technology in teaching
* Training in behaviour management techniques
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Work in a one-to-one setting, at the pupils home
* Collaborative work environment with school staff and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
