As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support classroom activities and assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one support for students with SEMH/SEN needs, aiding their academic progress and understanding of the curriculum.
Help prepare teaching materials and organise resources for lessons.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with pupils, fostering respect and confidence.
Collaborate with the wider school team to share ideas, strategies, and best practices.Essential Requirements
Proven experience in supporting students with behavioural challenges.
Strong references showcasing your ability to work effectively in similar roles.
