Senior Staff Nurse - Oncology
London, Private Care at Guy's (Part of London Bridge Hospital)
Full time - 37.5 hours per week

We're looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at Private Care at Guy's, one of our state-of-the-art cancer centres and currently rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC. Featuring theatres, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, oncology and surgical wards, and a four-bed intensive care unit, we deliver a level of care rarely found in the private sector. A centre of excellence, we're also constantly at the forefront of clinical innovation.
Working alongside an experienced nursing team, you'll help assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care while also being an advocate for the patient, ensuring all their medical, physical, and emotional needs are met by communicating effectively with them and their families.
What you'll bring:
1. A current NMC Nurse registration
2. Experience in Chemotherapy administration
3. Post registration experience within a haematology or oncology setting or equivalent
4. Clinical skills in venepuncture, cannulation, and the administration of intravenous drugs.
5. Wide and evidence-based knowledge of systemic anti-cancer treatments e.g. chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy etc., and the known and lesser-known side effects of these.
