About the role
At Hammersmith & Fulham, rated nationally by Ofsted as one of the top Local Authorities, we focus on increasing the quality of our practice and the work with children, young people, and families to sustain positive change. This role within the Educational Psychology Service is key to this work. Educational Psychologists working for LBHF EPS will deliver the full range of generic psychological services to schools, early years settings and to other practitioners covering consultation, assessment, intervention, research and training functions to support the development of pupil attainment and well-being. They offer parents/carers support and guidance in understanding and meeting the needs of their children/young people to promote their achievement and well-being. They ensure timely delivery of statutory psychological advice for EHC needs assessments where requested.
Applicants must be professionally qualified educational psychologists and registered with the HCPC, or be in their final year of training on a professional Educational Psychology Doctoral programme.
