Acting as a professional role model, works as an advanced practitioner, demonstrating clinical expertise in the care of any patients/clients receiving treatment across West Sussex Integrated Sexual Health Service, following agreed clinical policies and protocols and working in close collaboration with all members of the multidisciplinary team in order to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Issues prescription only medicines/treatments in accordance with local care pathways and Patient Group Directions, and in accordance with the NMC Administration of Medicines Guidelines Represents the department at service level governance and operational meetings providing factual information and statistical data as required and assist in decision making processes As Team Manager will demonstrate skills in HR issues and take responsibility for the recruitment and selection of staff, managing sickness and Health and Wellbeing, staff competency and any disciplinary issues of all line managed staff and as determined by Trust policy and the management team. Supports less experienced staff in the line management of others as part of their development. Undertakes/contributes to research/audit within the service and will support colleagues undertaking research/audit, both locally and county wide Acts as a visible and competent lead, role model and motivator to clinical and non- clinical staff across the locality and service.
