The Role
A varied role involving:
* Providing technical support and advice to the team.
* Staying updated on legal changes.
* Updating training for fee earners.
* Managing client matters, taking clear instructions, and offering tailored advice.
* Supervising support staff, including Secretaries and Paralegals.
* Participating in marketing and business development.
* Managing financial control, focusing on accurate time recording, cash flow, and billing.
* Meeting CPD requirements and identifying training needs.
* Ensuring compliance with SAR, SRA Code of Conduct, and Lexcel standards.
* Sharing knowledge and ideas across the team and firm.

The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor (3+ years PQE) or FCILEx with experience in Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and estate administration.
* Strong knowledge of taxes (IHT, CGT, Income Tax) in Trust work.
* STEP qualification or willingness to study for it is desirable.
* Experience in team management is a plus.
