Role: CAD/Project Coordinator
Location: South Cheshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 p/a + benefits package
One of the UK's market leaders in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment is seeking a motivated CAD/Project Co-ordinator to join their busy Pumping Stations department. This role is perfect for someone proficient in 2D AutoCAD, detail-oriented, and looking for an exciting challenge in a rewarding industry.
The Role:
·Generate 2D AutoCAD mechanical drawings and detailed parts lists.
·Procure materials, ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance with standards.
·Manage the progression of new pumping station projects, from design to delivery.
·Prepare quotations and provide excellent client support to build loyalty.
·Produce and organise project documentation, including O&M manuals.
·Collaborate with customers, sales managers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success.
·Offer insights on market trends and support the improvement of company procedures.
What You Bring:
·Qualifications:
oExperience in mechanical engineering (essential).
oProficiency in 2D AutoCAD (essential).
oGeneral understanding of mechanical engineering principles (essential).
·Experience:
oIndustry experience in piping, pumps, and valves is beneficial.
oAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings (essential).
·Skills:
oStrong communication and teamwork abilities.
oExcellent multitasking, prioritisation, and project management skills.
oFlexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
·Personal Attributes:
oSelf-motivated with a "can-do" attitude.
