Description POSITION SUMMARY To proactively supervise a number of service schedulers and ensure that they plan, organize, deliver and manage the Service planned deliverables to meet & exceed customers' requirements, Company quality standards, and achieves agreed targets and level of profit. Your objective is to deliver all Planned Maintenance & Non-Contract Sales in line with KPI’s. You must be commercially & operationally astute, with the ability to understand how our clients' business needs and ensure that we as a business are achieving those targets. Analytical, with the ability to identify trends, risks and resolutions; you will be confident, credible and be a main point of escalation for the schedulers under your supervision. RESPONSIBILITIES Service Performance & Delivery Responsible for Planned Maintenance delivery, ensuring all are delivered on time and planned so our engineer’s productivity is optimized. Provide consistency across the Scheduling teams in the delivery of services ensuring our processes and procedures are implemented and adhered to. Manage resource levels, delivering services within budget and seeking to improve utilisation & profit whilst maintaining staff morale. Create an environment in which personnel are encouraged to contribute to the development of the Service Department and their own careers. Act as a point of escalation for operational issues escalated to you. Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by the role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program. QHSE Assist as necessary with the registration of all sites to ISO14001 Environmental & OHSAS18001 Health and Safety management standards. Assess and control all risk (health, safety and environmental) identified for all standard activities and premises. Identify and comply with all relevant legislation. Ensure safe working practices with appropriate procedures, prevention measures & precautions are in place. Reduce adverse events; incur no lost time events or high severity events. To minimise gas & electricity consumption, reduce landfill waste and incur no major environmental events. Ensure that all adverse events identifying and implementing improvement action as appropriate and that your premises and fire safety arrangements are in line with company standards. To increase awareness of the management system and elements of operation. E.g., health and safety and environmental management. Human Resources Assess training requirements to ensure all staff has the required skills Ensure your responsibility have the required skilled and experienced personnel to meet their budget and objectives. Develop and agree the personal objectives of key Service staff to achieve their section's budget and targets. Ensure annual appraisals are undertaken in a timely fashion. Communicate regularly and effectively with staff working on the respective client services to ensure they are kept informed of, and encouraged to be involved in, all relevant client-related activities. To ensure absenteeism is minimised. QUALIFICATIONS Previous planning experience, preferably with field engineers. Previous supervisory experience Experience of working with bespoke planning software, arranging service engineers’ calls. Liaison with parts supply and sales departments. Telephone skills. Computer literate. Accuracy and attention to detail.
