About the role
We are seeking a Production Planner to join our dynamic team. The Production Planner will be responsible for managing the short-to-medium term planning horizon and coordinating production workflow for multiple products in IGC. Create & maintain production schedules, working cross-functionally with Operations, CI, Technical and Product Development to create the best plan to ensure maximum performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend and contribute production scheduling input to the weekly planning meetings to review the next 4 weeks + of daily Production plans. Agree and sign off the plans with any amends discussed during the meeting and ensure material availability can facilitate these amends.
* Attend and contribute production scheduling input to the daily Supply chain meetings. Ensure any actions are completed and use the opportunity to interact with work colleagues to ensure continuity.
* Work collaboratively with the Raw Materials Controllers to ensure planning cohesion and minimise plan changes and waste exposure.
* Attend and contribute to the weekly Supply Chain team meeting to update on weekly performance indicators and share successes, priorities, issues, and to escalate any need for help.
* Collaborative working with Product Development team to plan trials aligned to weekly production plan and required launch dates.
Qualifications and Experience:
Desirable – Proven experience within a Supply Chain role, specifically within a production scheduling discipline
Desirable – Food manufacturing experience
Required - Proven experience within a Supply Chain role, specifically within a production scheduling discipline
Required - Experience of using multiple systems such as Microsoft Navision, Microsoft Excel and various others Supply Chain based systems.
