The (Junior) Valuation Controller will be supporting in executing the monthly and quarterly Private Equity valuation processes. You will work with our colleagues in Horsham, Zurich, London and Beijing, and will be responsible for the operational execution of the internal processes and the coordination with internal and external stakeholders for the NAV release. Operating with a controller mindset, you will also be responsible for the analysis of financial information from our private portfolio companies.

What you'll do
1. Assist in the month-end and quarter-end valuation processes, including the execution of internal controls and review and reconciliation of fund valuations.
2. Collect, record and analyse valuation relevant financial data of portfolio companies including reviewing financial statements and management updates throughout the investment period.
3. Coordinate with internal teams such as portfolio managers and internal operations' teams to gather necessary information for controlling and valuation purposes.
4. Participate in the coordination and completion of external audits and regulatory reporting.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
1. Several years of work experience in the area of controlling, audit, accounting or finance would be an advantage.
2. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, report preparation, and presentation creation.
3. Basic understanding of a programming language would be an advantage.
