The Team
Veeqo (veeqo.com) — a startup which was acquired by Amazon in 2021 — is Amazon’s recommended shipping, inventory, and warehouse management solution for Sellers. Our vision is to become the multi-channel solution for eCommerce sellers, for both their on-Amazon and off-Amazon business. We help sellers manage fulfillment operations across all their online stores, and ship orders to customers at the lowest cost and in the fastest possible time. The marketing team uses data, seller insights, and automation to invent, test and scale programs that raise awareness of Veeqo and drive Sellers to signup or engage with our sales team. We're a close-knit group of marketers (functional channel owners, product marketers, creatives, content marketers, etc) who collaborate and enjoy a fast pace of delivery. You'll work in tight partnership with our sales and product teams.
The Role
Our Marketing team is seeking an exceptional Principal B2B Growth Marketing Lead to own marketing programs and marketing strategy to improve seller awareness, adoption, and ongoing engagement with Veeqo. You will develop, implement, and optimize sophisticated marketing programs across multiple seller cohorts and channels. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close partnerships with marketing, product, BI, legal, and finance leaders. This role requires an analytical marketer with strong analytical and program management skills who is willing to constantly experiment to deliver results.
The successful candidate is experienced in multiple marketing channels and willing to continuously test and learn and develop a team of marketers who can do the same. In this role you will accountable for the overall performance of our Marketing function, developing businesses cases, evangelizing new concepts and gaining alignment from senior leadership within Amazon and externally with our partners. He or she must be comfortable in driving high level business decisions, thriving in ambiguous situations, collaborating with others, and building things from scratch.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have a proven track record for leading successful marketing teams and programs across multiple touch points.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop long term and short-term strategies to drive growth via new customer acquisition and customer engagement.
2. Use data and insights to develop a deep understanding of the drivers of customer adoption behavior (acquisition) and customer activation (engagement) and translate those insights into innovative customer campaigns and promotions.
3. Work cross-functionally with business development, marketing, finance, product, sales, insights and analysts, legal, and PR to deliver high quality channel management and programs.
4. Own operations and prioritization of channel resources; conduct quarterly business reviews and annual resource planning.
5. Create innovative internal and external partnerships to drive organic visibility and traffic for the category.
6. Develop and execute financial investment plans in collaboration with Finance partners; establish measurement and review processes for marketing spend.
7. Partner with Central Teams to identify and reapply best practices to expand reach and secure resourcing for new test and learn opportunities in paid, owned and earned media channels.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
2. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
3. Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
4. 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in inter-team working skills to develop partnership with partner, tech team and operating at leadership levels.
2. Experience working with external agencies or teams to source content, working within a defined budget.
3. Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale.
4. Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research.
5. Experience working with thought leadership and awareness marketing programs.
