Teaching Personnel is proud to support a secondary school in Tameside seeking a motivated and results-driven Maths Specialist to deliver targeted intervention sessions. This role is perfect for someone passionate about raising attainment in mathematics and making a meaningful impact on student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and delivering bespoke intervention sessions for students needing additional support in maths, focusing on core topics such as algebra, geometry, and statistics.
* Monitoring and evaluating students’ progress to identify areas for further development.
* Working closely with the maths department and SEN team to align intervention strategies with curriculum goals.
* Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and confidence in their abilities.
What We’re Looking For:
* QTS or equivalent qualification, with a proven track record of success in teaching mathematics.
* Experience in delivering intervention or tutoring sessions is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills to assess and adapt teaching strategies.
* Patience, resilience, and a passion for helping students overcome challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
