About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support and enhance European research development at a leading research-intensive university. EUTOPIA is an ambitious initiative, committed to the fostering of a challenge-driven knowledge-creation community that capitalises on the EUTOPIA partners’ joint potential to promote innovation and societal impact.
A strong network has been cultivated across the research offices of the alliance partners through the EUTOPIA-TRAIN project which concluded early in 2024. The postholder will work closely with the alliance partner colleagues to develop the research programme and promote opportunities for researchers. As such, the postholder will need to be able to travel to our partner institutions from time-to-time as projects evolve.
This role is based in Warwick’s Research & Impact Services but will involve close collaboration with the International Strategy and Relations team, the Library, Innovation Group, R&IS’ Impact team, Legal Services, and Finance along with regular engagement with the equivalent offices in our partner universities, to develop necessary systems and procedures and to progress individual projects that will contribute to the overall outcomes of EUTOPIA.
About You
The role will appeal to those who are passionate about supporting European research and collaboration and thrive in a fast-moving environment that requires a problem-solving approach. The postholder will also be a highly skilled research development or project management professional, with a proven track record supporting pan-European research and innovation projects, collaborations, and partnerships. Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential.
