The role This is an exciting opportunity to join Mills & Reeve's Employment, Pensions & Immigration National Service Line (NSL) as its first Investigations Specialist. Due to increasing demand from clients for support around workplace investigations – including grievances and disciplinary matters – we are seeking to recruit a dedicated investigator to conduct workplace investigations as we continue to develop and grow our Investigations Unit. This role offers the opportunity to be a key part in the development, growth and management of the Investigations Unit which is an important element of the NSL's future strategy. The role will be supporting the whole NSL and can be based out of any of our seven offices across the UK – including homeworking as part of our hybrid working policy. Travel may be required subject to the needs of any particular investigation. What experience is required? The role will suit those with experience of conducting and / or advising on workplace investigations, especially those at a more senior leve l within an organisation. You may therefore be an employment lawyer, looking for a new challenge within your career. You may be a HR professional with experience of supporting an organisation with its internal investigations. Over 125 people in the NSL work collaboratively across offices and sectors, meaning there will be plenty of support available to the successful candidate in moving into this newly created role. You will also work closely with Richard Barker, a Partner overseeing the development and growth of the NSL's Investigatio ns Unit.
