Site Manager needed in Bracknell, UK
Job Type: Contract (Up to 6 months initially, with potential extension)
Salary: Negotiable, paid via PAYE Umbrella
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Site Manager to join our team in Bracknell. The successful candidate will oversee external works for up to six months, transitioning to internal fit-out from May 2025. This role requires a well-rounded professional capable of managing various aspects of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
2. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site staff.
3. Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met within budget.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
5. Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
7. Implement and maintain health and safety protocols on-site.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
1. Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
2. Black CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
3. 3-day First Aid certification.
4. Proven experience in managing both external works and internal fit-outs.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
