Join us to make a difference. Main duties will include assessments, case management and planning, family intervention and recording and monitoring work using an electronic case recording system. It is essential that you have a BA(Hons) in Social Work or equivalent, be registered with the SSSC, committed to social work values, have effective interpersonal communication, IT, assessment and writing skills, be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and have a flexible approach. If successful you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post. The post holder is required to travel effectively and efficiently throughout Argyll and Bute and beyond to meet the needs of the service. All qualified social workers participate in our out of hours service, which offers unique experience and opportunity to develop skills primarily of telephone based crisis support across the whole range of social work client groups.
