Due to this success and in order to support future growth, they seek to appoint a Group Head of Finance as a key leader and advisor in their business.
With responsibility for financial strategy, financial direction, budget management, financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations as well as providing broader management input for the company, this role is central to upholding the Groups impartial and transparent culture.
Reporting to the CEO, the Group Head of Finance role will input, influence and contribute to wider commercial and company strategy, key business changes and investments, supporting on Group value creation initiatives with meaningful and trusted insight.
They will work closely with each business unit on planning, budgeting and forecasting, presenting to the Board and building strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
The role holder will lead and develop a high performing finance function, ensuring existing processes are fit for purpose and that all activities and functions of the Finance team are aligned with organisational priorities.
Applicants should possess the following skills and attributes: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant.
Significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role with previous responsibility for finance and governance, including financial planning, budgeting and financial or management accounting.
Previous experience of leading and developing a high performing Finance team.
Demonstrable experience of building highly effective relationships and working constructively with internal and external key stakeholders, including those at a senior level, to ensure successful outcomes.
Delivered or been part of an ERP / IT systems implementation.
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial matters clearly to non-finance stakeholders and colleagues.
Evidence of previously making business decisions at a senior level and comfortable reporting to a Board.
