Job summary
East Anglia Children's Hospices (EACH) are seeking an enthusiastic social media and digital communications coordinator for a permanent, full-time position to work within our esteemed organisation.
Main duties of the job
Reporting directly to the marketing and communications manager, you will have an integral role in the delivery of the organisations marketing and communications plan.
1. Preparation and posting of all social media content.
2. Increase engagement with our audience across all social media platforms.
3. Monitor, report and evaluate all social media activity.
4. Research and monitor emerging social media tools.
5. Produce effective, engaging and emotive film content.
6. Research and monitor emerging social media tools, changes to algorithms that will affect engagement levels and trends to support with content, platform and advertising plans.
7. Manage and produce effective, engaging and emotive film content to support all areas of the organisation.
8. Assist with any other tasks to support EACHs digital activities, including e-comms.

Person Specification
Experience
Essential
18. Grade C or above GCSE in English and maths or equivalent.
19. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
20. Working knowledge of web content management systems including Wordpress.
21. Two years practical experience in a digital related role.
22. One years experience of content writing, delivery and management of professional social media accounts.
23. Knowledge of search engines, Google Analytics and other digital platforms.
24. Experience of managing a number of large projects simultaneously.
Desirable
25. Experience working within a similar digital related role.
26. Experience of content writing, delivery and management of professional social media accounts ideally for charities.
Additional skills:
Essential
27. A desire to keep up to date with the latest social media trends and maintain and build a strong online community.
28. Experience in digital communications, specialising in social media.
29. First class writing skills to develop and curate creative and engaging content to work across multi-channel social media platforms.
30. The analytical skills and insight required to deliver successful campaigns to support the full marketing mix.
