Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The role of the Global Security Director, I&A is to enhance the quality of International SOS’ market-leading global security information analysis and advice to enable customers to understand and mitigate their risks. Accountability for the quality of the seminal thought space on security issues worldwide informing information, assistance and crisis management deliverables.
1. Management of Security Director I&A and Assistance, Australia & Pacific, Security Director I&A, EMEA & Americas and supervising the Security Director I&A in Dubai, London and Chief Analyst West and Chief Analyst, East ensuring regular meetings are being conducted, tasks and duties appropriately assigned, development needs of the team are being appropriately addressed.
2. Proactive engagement as a member of the Content Services business unit leadership team to drive the evolution of multimedia, audience-centric digital content agenda.
3. Proactive participation in the Professional Security Leadership team and the Medical and Security Assistance Services Leadership team.
4. Proactive collaboration with the Group Medical Director I&A to ensure alignment on threat horizon scanning, priority information requirements and ‘party line’ position on topics.
5. Professional accountability for the execution of world-class, forward-leaning, 24/7 intelligence cycle-led security I&A outputs.
6. Ensuring that the global security I&A function is staffed with driven and committed security professionals in close alignment with Regional Security Directors, General Manager, Medical & Security Content Services and Head of Security Learning and Development.
7. Engage with Regional Security Directors and ensure alignment and consistency across I&A issues across regional teams and global arbiter of resource allocation and task priorities during times of crisis response.
8. Professionally responsible for the internal Business Continuity / Direct Response plans for Security I&A services globally.
9. Drive the development of improved and additional Standard Operating Procedures for the security I&A function in line with those of the Content Services business unit.
10. Ensure full and consistent integration of our security I&A into security assistance case management and threat-led operational positioning and decision making.
11. Drive innovation in the expansion of security I&A capabilities including talent, tools and process.
12. Support Group Marketing for development of key themes and messages to extend market understanding of company security capabilities.
13. Work with Content Services business unit colleagues, business line product management and sales to ensure the accurate positioning of security I&A products and solutions.
Description:

Required Work Experience:
1. Demonstrated knowledge and professional application of all aspects of an intelligence cycle.
2. Ideally extensive operations management, crisis management and security risk management experience across multiple countries and regions.
3. Experience in intelligence operations within an external Government agency, Government intelligence analysis, military, policing or equivalent corporate experience (with an international dimension).
4. Experience in remote management within a matrix environment.
5. Educated to degree level or equivalent in International relations/geopolitics/war studies or related subject preferred.
6. Accreditation of a relevant industry body is preferred.
7. Excellent spoken and written English language.
8. Other language skills are highly desirable; Mandarin, Spanish, French, Arabic, Japanese, German, Korean, or Bahasa Indonesian.
