Office Manager (Book keeper) - Part time / Flexible hours
Between 20 to 30 hrs p/week / Mon - Fri
Some remote working if preferred.
Salary between £16,640 to £26,520 dependant on hours
Location: Liss - GU33
This role is a mixture of office management and book keeping. You will have experience in both. You will be required to work in a small friendly team when in the office although this role comes with lots of flexibility on the hours you choose to work and the option for a degree of remote working (you must come into office for some of the week). This is a multiple award-winning company specialising in timber structures.
For the right candidate we can negotiate terms around them.
Responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping:
o Enter purchase ledger invoices
o Issue sales ledger invoices
o Handle any customer account queries
o Enter any payments received
o Check balance on Xero and reconcile
o Make any payments required
o VAT Submission
o CIS Submission
o Send Statements
o Manage Retentions
o Credit Card Reconcile
o Payroll Preparation
o Payroll (including Pension submission, entering HMRC payment and Payroll journal)
o Monthly/ Quarterly/ Annual Management Accounts
2. Office Management and Admin:
o Creating new job files
o Gathering and inputting timesheets
o Input holiday request forms
o Ordering of stationary and other items
o Booking of ferries/hotels/Airbnbs etc.
o Manage insurances and renewals, including shopping around for the best offers
o Manage services and pay bills
