Our dedicated team is known for delivering expert legal advice and providing exceptional client care in challenging and sensitive circumstances.Role Overview:We are currently seeking a motivated and highly organized Contentious Probate Legal Secretary to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide vital administrative support to our experienced contentious probate solicitors, working on complex and high-profile cases involving inheritance disputes, will challenges, and estate administration.Key Responsibilities:Providing full administrative and secretarial support to the contentious probate team Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms in relation to contentious probate matters Organizing and maintaining client files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible Assisting with case management and helping prepare for client meetings, hearings, and trials Managing calendars, booking appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements for solicitors Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion Liaising with clients, barristers, experts, and other professionals, offering excellent customer service Preparing bills and assisting with fee-earner timekeeping and billing processes Key Skills and Experience:Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within contentious probate, trusts, or estates Strong knowledge of probate and contentious probate law and procedures Excellent typing, word processing, and IT skills, particularly in MS Office and case management systems High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach to work Experience with preparing court documents and dealing with legal correspondence is highly desirable A positive attitude and a strong team player Qualifications:Legal Secretarial qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable, though not essential Why Join Us:Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment Exposure to complex and high-value contentious probate cases Excellent career development opportunities within a growing firm If you are a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for law and a desire to contribute to a busy and growing contentious probate team, we would love to hear from you!How to Apply:Please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience to CRA Legal follow strict best practice recruitment guidelines monitored by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
