Parts Advisor - Leicester Area

Our client, the No. 1 motor trade employer in the country, is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor. This is another GREAT opportunity to work with the best; these opportunities don't come along too often!
Responsibilities of the Parts Advisor:
1. Support the Parts Manager & Parts Supervisor in the efficient running of the department, including the showroom and goods inward area.
2. Demonstrate a 'One Team' approach and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers/suppliers.
3. Ensure all requests are dealt with promptly and assist colleagues and customers with parts identification, searching, and sourcing.
4. Maintain the parts stock room and manage stock levels by taking responsibility for ordering and selling a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories.
5. Achieve a level of profitability that meets departmental, branch, and company expectations.
6. Deal with customers on a day-to-day basis, whether face-to-face, on the phone, or via email.
7. Manage existing customer accounts and build new relationships to increase departmental growth and exceed customer expectations.
8. Maintain all records efficiently and accurately, including the preparation of quotations and liaising with the Service department.
9. Manage stocks alongside the Parts Manager to maintain correct stock levels and ensure timely order placement.
10. Communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with departments influenced by the service you provide.
11. Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Experience/Skills:
1. Experience in a similar role within the motor industry and IT literate.
2. High levels of organization and attention to detail.
3. Fantastic communication skills and customer-facing experience.
4. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and providing the best advice on products and services.
5. Knowledge and experience in the agricultural, automotive, or plant machinery industry.
6. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
7. Organized and able to multitask efficiently.
8. Proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving.
9. Work towards targets and objectives set.
10. Able to work alone and on your own initiative.
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
12. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
13. Full driving license is required.

Working Hours/Days:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm. Every third Saturday 8:00am - 1:00pm, which is part of the salary package.
Salary:
£26,000 basic, £30,000++ OTE and uncapped.
