We have a wonderful opportunity for a confident and adaptive Class Teacher to join one of our partnership Alternative Provision Schools on a part-time basis from April 2025.
You will join a vibrant staff team, focused on the delivery of a high-quality and nurturing education for pupils with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in the Leeds area.
The Specialist School caters for 40 pupils, displaying a range of SEMH needs. You will work in collaboration with the existing staff team to enable effective teaching, support and confidence building that allows pupils to transition back into mainstream education or an appropriate specialist provision dependent on individual learning needs.
You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role, we offer competitive rates of pay depending on experience.
We are seeking a Class Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Previous experience teaching SEN/SEMH pupils is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
