Aramark UK is looking for an experienced and driven Catering Manager, based at the University of Westminster, to oversee the operational management and financial performance of our catering services.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to ensure optimal stock levels and smooth daily operations across the main campus and two other sites. You will also be a key player in delivering exceptional customer service, utilising supplied marketing tools to enhance communication and drive sales. A day in the life of a Catering Manager:
* Line management, championing a training culture within the team and leading daily briefings
* Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with suppliers
* Ensure all daily paper / digital work is completed correctly and on time
* Ensure compliance with Aramark UK’s Hygiene & Safety requirements
* Prepare accurate projections for all P&L accounts, including raw materials, wages, etc.
* Ensure compliance with Aramark UK’s Health & Safety requirements
* Support Director of Operations with client reviews, new business, retention, etc.
* Help develop strategic plans and value proposition
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
* At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (Catering Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Supervisor)
* Multi-site experience would be a real bonus
* Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3
* Knowledge of applicable Health & Safety legislation
* Reporting skills
* Excellent communication skills
