We're looking for a QA Team Leader
Were looking for a QA Team Leader to support the operational running of our Quality department. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a food manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in leading a team would be desirable; as would qualifications in Food Safety or HACCP and internal auditing.
The working environment within food manufacturing is fast paced and susceptible to change, meaning you will need to adapt, and react accordingly to a varied workload. Examples of duties include;
* To ensure that the packed stock meets the required specification and through liaising with the Production Team, that production is completed as efficiently as possible without compromising the product quality
* In the event of any out of specification product, take the appropriate action in conjunction with Production Management
* To assist with preparation of the site for audits from both internal and external expectation
* To manage the site GMP audit system and be a member of the site internal auditing team
* To assist with the recording of all necessary KPI information weekly
* In the absence of the QA Operational Manager, support in the running the Department ensuring team performance and that all QA functions are completed to the required standards. Also include managing sickness and holiday cover
You will be joining a very supporting team, who offer a vast amount of knowledge and expertise across our 3 sites.
