Job Description
* Maintaining the purchase ledger and ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate.
* Processing invoices in a timely manner and preparing payment runs.
* Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with any discrepancies.
* Assisting with month-end and year-end closing of the ledger.
* Handling supplier queries and resolving any issues swiftly.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Assisting with other accounting duties as required.
* Contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
* Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Prior experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
* Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
