Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's products. Essential Tasks:
1. Ability to gain cooperation working with all levels.
2. Technically advise as required from drawings.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, as well as customers and suppliers, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Ability to implement preventive measures.
6. Conduct root cause analysis.
7. Investigate and document NCR's in line with company requirements.
8. 8D Reports.
9. Ensure maintained compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
10. Monitor and analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
11. Ability to manage customer-specific projects.
12. Conduct quality inspections internally and externally, if required.
13. ISIR/PPAP/FAIR reports.
14. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
15. Responsibilities as outlined in H&S Policy.
Preferred Tasks:
1. Conduct internal audits in line with the internal audit schedule.
2. Conduct external audits at supplier premises.
3. Conduct gravimetric and particulate cleanliness testing.
4. Understanding of production processes.
5. Use SAP investigations to support QA Activities.
6. Tube Manipulation and hose assembly knowledge for technical investigations.
7. Generating orders for replacements.
8. Raising credits for non-conforming parts.
9. Arranging transport for collection of non-conforming parts.
10. Organisation of returns of product.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience in a similar Quality Engineer Position.
2. GCSEs.
3. Driving License.
4. Negotiation Skills.
5. Excel and Word proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
1. Engineering Qualifications.
2. Vocational Training – QMS Auditor Training - Internal.
3. QMS Auditor Training – External.
4. Product Training.
5. Product knowledge in the Hydraulics Industry would be advantageous.
6. SAP knowledge.
