Degree level or equivalent plus additional specialist knowledge acquired through post graduate diploma level or equivalent relevant experience. The candidate should have a good level of knowledge around all aspects of QA testing and an understanding of the wider software development lifecycle, underpinned by theory and professional experience. Previous experience in a QA role Understanding of user journeys and functional requirements provided by Business Analysts. Ability to develop and implement test plans and test cases. Experience of creating and maintaining regression test packs. Willingness to learn how to run automated tests. Identify test cases suitable for automation and collaborate with Test Engineers. Test execution on various platforms and devices Reporting progress and issues to the Test Manager Detection and resolution of issues. Ability to challenge requirements and collaborate with developers to find solutions.
