Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a qualified sonographer/midwife sonographer to join our friendly team in a busy obstetric and gynaecology unit. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work closely with other teams within the Women and Children's unit which is closely linked to Fetal Medicine and Fetal cardiac scanning. Main duties of the job You will need experience in obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound to be able to provide a range of ultrasound examinations. You will be expected to use a degree of autonomy when required and provide independent computer reports for all work undertaken. You are required to hold current HCPC registration and DMU/PGD/C in obstetrics and gynaecology qualification. You will be expected to be included in extended working days and weekends as part of your working hours. You will also be expected to work in hospitals across the trust such as Friarage Hospital Northallerton, Redcar Primary Care Hospital and Stockton Community Diagnostic centre.
