Street Sweeping Operative - PKC12196

Based in Aberfeldy, you will operate primarily as a lone worker; however, you may be required to work as part of a team as the situation requires.
You will perform litter collection duties throughout the area. You may also be required to carry out additional tasks such as serving as a second operative in a van to empty litter bins, collect fly-tipping, and lift waste from domestic properties.
You may also be required to carry out other duties as needed.
You must be able to carry out the physical demands of the post.
You must be able to complete paperwork associated with the post, e.g., timesheets, work schedules, maintenance records, etc.
A working knowledge and experience of computers/smartphones would also be beneficial.
This post is Monday to Friday on a 36-hour working pattern.
A Cat B driving licence is desirable.
The Individual
To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit and prepared to walk while carrying/moving heavy loads over rough ground in all weathers.
You will have a strong constitution with regard to adverse odours and may be required to work overtime.
