We are currently recruiting for a Stores Manager to join our expanding new role will be heading up our AllServiceOne warehouse operations, receiving and processing parts for warranty and retail demands to tight deadlines. The Role: In consultation with the Head of Logistics, determine appropriate staff levels and competencies and ascertain training needs in line with business needs. Ensure labour is planned and utilised effectively to deliver operational plans and KPIs. Responsible for the safe and accurate receipt, storage, and delivery of goods. Ensure all employees comply with Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. Responsible for the Health and Safety of all employees and visitors in the Department. Manage individual performance, including recruitment, training, discipline, motivation, and recognition. Ensure adequate supervision of stores activities and continuous improvement. Ensure annual appraisals and performance objectives for all staff are conducted and reviewed. Plan and manage stock accuracy activities, including stock-takes and investigations. Report and deliver KPIs to drive continuous improvement in the stores function. Highlight unresolved issues to the Head of Logistics and work on resolutions. Consult with the Scheduling Team on delivery shortages and special receipt arrangements. Ensure stores and receipting areas are safe and maintenance issues are promptly addressed. Responsible for the company's fleet of forktrucks/handling equipment and vans, ensuring safety, maintenance, and authorised use. The Requirements: 5 GCSE Grades A-C to include Maths and English or equivalent. NVQ Level 3 in Stores and Warehousing Minimum 5 years in a Stores Supervisory Role Extensive experience in managing stores teams, including resource planning, training, and development. History of managing across different stores locations. Experience in planning and undertaking stock counts. Proven track record in actively managing Health and Safety in a warehouse environment. Experience in leading disciplinary and grievance investigations. Computer Literate with experience of spreadsheets and databases. Experience of computerised Stock control systems. Suitable experience in manufacturing supporting a high-volume production line build program.
