We are currently seeking a seasoned Damp-Proofing Technician/Damp-Proof Plasterer to join our dynamic team for an immediate commencement.
This opportunity may appeal to individuals with an existing workload who are seeking additional assignments.
The role will occasionally involve the preparatory aspects of jobs before the implementation of remedial treatments. This may encompass tasks such as removing boxing, skirting boards, radiators, plug sockets, etc. While this won't be a requirement for every job, the ideal candidate will possess the skills to execute these tasks proficiently when necessary.
For those without prior damp-proofing experience, we offer comprehensive training.
We are specifically looking for someone adept at damp-proofing and related tasks, including:
* Expertly hacking wall plaster.
* Proficient in drilling and injecting chemical barrier cream damp-proofing treatments.
* Knowledgeable and skilled in damp-proofing plaster/render ratios.
* Basic understanding of damp-proofing chemicals.
* Proficient in carrying out physical damp-proofing membrane systems.
* Competence in structural cavity wall membrane systems, including sumps and pumps.
* Familiarity with woodworm/timber preservation treatments.
Training opportunities are available for enthusiastic candidates.

Must-haves:
* Prior experience within the construction industry.
* Valid UK driver's license.
* Own vehicle (a van can be provided for the ideal candidate after a probation period).
* Residence within a reasonable distance of our office in CR0.
