The International Loyalty & Partnerships team, as part of the Premium Products & Benefits organisation within the ICS COE, is responsible for setting the enterprise-wide loyalty and benefit vision and leveraging our partnerships to deliver top-line revenue aspirations by building world beating customer value propositions, whilst expanding margin to enhance shareholder value.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnerships & Business Development, this Analyst will help manage multi-market partner relationships, be responsible for expanding our existing loyalty partnerships defending and expanding some of our largest Travel & Everyday loyalty and travel partnerships (e.g.Hilton, Marriott, Emirates) across our International Proprietary markets, to drive relevant and compelling value to our customers. In addition, they will be the primary point of contact to enable APIs for Elite Status partners and to implement partner marketing campaigns across our travel partners to drive sustainable reward economics.
The incumbent will be a results-oriented, team player with a flexible attitude and strong commercial acumen. They will have a history of managing and developing high-profile external partners, leading & coordinating complex contractual negotiations and driving followership and progress against a dynamic pipeline of initiatives.
How will you make an impact in this role?
1. Support and manage a diverse pipeline of loyalty partnerships including strategy, deployment, reporting/ monitoring and ongoing enhancements.
2. Act as the day-to-day contact with existing partners and local markets for reporting, invoicing, marketing & operational/servicing activities.
3. Coordinate with global and central Marketing teams to maintain a marketing calendar for partner promotional campaigns and advocate for increased opportunities as needed to drive growth.
4. Be the primary point of contact and partner with internal cross-functional collaborators (Marketing, Risk, Fraud, Credit, Compliance, GCO/Legal, Technologies etc.) to enable APIs for Elite Status partners
5. Support the Manager in reporting & partnership updates for internal global roundtables & local market discussions.
6. Support Manager with data analysis & business cases for BD opportunities
7. Confidently share best practices and learnings across International markets.
Minimum Qualifications
The role will require comfort and confidence in creating and presenting partner-facing content, influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally and delivering results across multiple global cross-functional teams including other pillars of the ICS COE, Product, Strategic Partnerships, TLS, GNS, Legal, Controllership, Tech, GMNS and Operational Excellence.
8. Prior experience managing stakeholders and supporting complex multi-market negotiations
9. Results-oriented, data-centric team player with clear communication style and a strong will to build compelling stories through data & Powerpoint
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, nVision), with the ability to develop and own detailed internal and external reporting packages
11. International, multi-market experience and knowledge; global and cultural mindset and ability to keep organised working across many local market teams
12. Ability to act autonomously to drive forward partnerships, find solutions, define business cases and create compelling pitch materials
13. A passion for partnerships and a growth mindset eagerness to follow industry trends and the competitive landscape
14. High energy, strong will-to-win and ability to navigate a fast paced white space environment
15. Ability to work across a matrixed, fast changing organisation across International markets and bring stakeholders together to achieve common objectives
