IT Project Manager - Supply Chain/Business Development

cardfactory are excited to announce a new opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our growing IT team with a focus on Supply Chain and Business Development.
As a Project Manager, your role will focus on managing and delivering change and business-as-usual (BAU) IT projects within cardfactory. You will report directly to the Product Owner (or Department Head) and collaborate with the Functional & Platform squads as well as the Transformation Office to standardize and mature project delivery methods. Success in this position looks like owning and delivering all change and BAU IT projects while effectively managing project teams.
Based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, with free parking and a flexible, hybrid way of working, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our team. Colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of 1-2 days per week, with the expectation of additional attendance when needed.
Role Responsibility
As a Project Manager, your accountabilities will include the following:
* Owning and delivering all change and BAU IT projects within the functional squad(s), ensuring accountability for project delivery.
* Collaborating with the Transformation Office to standardize and mature project delivery methods.
* Managing projects using agile Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall methodologies.
* Providing leadership for project teams, motivating, coaching, and developing staff.
* Delivering projects of varying size and complexity across the full project lifecycle, including creating and operating governance with appropriate monitoring and controls.
* Owning IT resource demand, capacity, and utilization reporting, while supporting resource planning and allocation.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, experience, and attributes:
* Prior experience in Project/Programme related roles, focusing on IT Delivery, ideally in a Retail or FMCG.
* Excellent knowledge of Supply chain and/or Business Development processes, ideally with experience on logistics, warehousing, wholesale & EDI.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Knowledge of methodologies that will work effectively in a transformation and technology delivery program.
* Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven, with a strong ownership mindset.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
