We are Eastlight, and we're looking for an Income Advisor who's not just about the numbers, but about the faces behind them.
In this role you will:
* Manage the collection and prevention of housing-related debt up to an agreed threshold.
* Coordinate with the Income Managers to ensure efficient debt collection processes.
* Manage and monitor the effective collection of housing, garage, former, and sundry debts.
* Collaborate with Income Managers on managing accounts up to an agreed threshold.
* Provide exemplary customer service at all times.
* Advocate the most effective payment methods tailored to individual customer needs.
* Promote financial inclusion across the Eastlight resident community.
* Contribute to pertinent projects and perform other reasonable tasks within the Income team.
* Liaise with other departments, partners, and stakeholders for optimal case management.
You will need:
* A genuine commitment to the principles of equality and diversity.
* Proven experience working in a team environment, as well as the ability to take initiative.
* Knowledge and experience of the legal processes involved in housing-related debt collection.
* An understanding of financial inclusion.
* Knowledge of welfare benefits and the Universal Credit process.
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Exceptional time management and organisational abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
To demonstrate our commitment to you, we have developed a sector leading total rewards package:
* £29,492 annual base salary
* Fixed Term 12 Month contract, Fulltime
* Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution – Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%).
* Annual wellbeing grant of £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
* 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Trailblazing family leave [Maternity, Paternity and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay / 6 weeks half pay] – Subject to eligibility
