This is an exciting time to join the Secure Care Services CBU as we now have our new MSU Sycamore Unit fully operational. We also have low-secure services in place to support a specialised patient group.
We are looking to appoint two motivated, innovative registered nurses into clinical nurse lead posts on the Secure Mental Health Wards, specifically, Linhope Medium Secure Unit within Sycamore. Applicants need to have completed preceptorship and have current working knowledge of the Secure Care Pathway as well as significant post qualifying experience.

Main duties of the job
They act as a Clinical Nurse Lead within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and are visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring lead on the implementation of all performance indicators, essential standards and quality develop and where appropriate deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce and facilitate staff appraisals and Clinical Supervision and support personal development provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
